Canon E-store 1st Anniversary Lucky Draw (“Campaign”) Terms

 

This Campaign is organised by Canon Marketing (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. (the “Organiser”). By taking part in this Campaign, participants are deemed to be bound by and comply with these Campaign Terms, which shall form a valid and binding agreement between you and the Organiser.

 

1. Campaign Duration:

Campaign will run from 14 August 2024 (00:00 am) to 22 August 2024 (11:59 pm).

 

2. Eligibility:

Age requirement and Residency: All participants must be aged 18 and above and residing in Malaysia.
Exclusions: Immediate family members of the Organiser and its employees are not eligible to participate.
 

3. How to Enter:

Entry Method: To participate in the Campaign, eligible participants must:
a) be a registered member of Canon E-store; and

b) spend minimum of RM50 from Canon E-store between 14-22nd August 2024; and

c) comment on Canon Anniversary Promo Post  and tell us “How much to spend from Canon E-store to get Free Shipping” and hashtag:
i) #canonestore
ii) #1300000XXXX (your order number)

Entries must be from valid Facebook accounts. Fraudulent activities will be monitored and will lead to disqualification.

Entry Limit: There is no entry limit.  participants may purchase several orders to have more than one entry.
 

4. Winner selection and Prizes

4.1 Winner Selection

The Campaign will run for 9 days, and the Organiser will select a total of 34 winners only.
The Organiser will select the winners based on the correct answer and the entry that fulfills all the requirements through a Lucky Draw.
The decision of the Organiser on the winner selection is final. No appeals and correspondence will be entertained.
Draw Date: The draw will take place on 20th September 2024.Governing Law: These Terms of the Campaign shall be construed, governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Malaysia and any dispute arising out of or due to this Campaign will be mutually resolved, failing which, will be referred to the jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
 

4.2 Prize Details: 
a) Grand Prize: 1 x RM1,000 Shangri-La Hotel Vouchers, with a total value of RM1,000. The vouchers are valid for six months from the date of issuance.

b) 1st Prize: 3 x Entrance tickets for Gamuda SplashMania, with a total value of RM375. The entrance tickets are valid for six months from the date of issuance.

c) consolation prize: 30 x movie tickets, with a total value of RM780. The movie tickets are valid for sixty days from the date of issuance.

 

4.3 Winner Notification

(a)  Winners will be notified via registered email address in Canon E-store within 7 working days of the draw.

(b)Winners must respond to Organiser’s email within [5] days from the date of notification for instructions on collection of the Prize.

(c ) Upon validation of the winners’ personal details, the Organiser will contact the winners to arrange for the delivery method of the prize.

(d) All costs incidental to the redemption and/or usage of the prize(s) shall be solely borne by the winner.

(e) The Organiser shall, under no circumstances be responsible and/or liable if any of the winners cannot be contacted. The Organiser further reserves the full right to disqualify any winner if any reasonable attempt to contact them via any medium deemed appropriate by the Organiser has failed for any reason whatsoever.

 

5. General Terms

5.1 Publicity:

(a) By submitting the Campaign entries, you agree to grant and authorize Organiser the right to collect, use, process and disclose your name, contact information and other personal data, without remuneration or compensation, for the purposes of:

i) the conduct and administration in relation to the Campaign (including without limitation to collection of Prizes by the Winners);

ii) Organiser’s promotional and marketing purposes

5.2 Data Protection

All personal data collected will only be used for the purposes of managing and operating the Campaign and not for any other purposes and Organiser shall manage the personal data according to the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 and the prevailing rules and regulations on data privacy in Malaysia from time to time. By participating in this Campaign, participant hereby has read and agree to the terms of the Organiser’s privacy policy in https://my.canon/en/consumer/web/privacy

5.3 Disqualification: The Organiser reserves the right to disqualify any participant who breaches these Terms or engages in fraudulent activity.

5.4 Liability: The Organiser shall not be liable for any disruption to the Campaign, whether due to technical problems or otherwise, but not limited to computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the reasonable control of the Organiser. In the event of a disruption to the Campaign, reasonable efforts shall be used to remedy the disruption and resume the Campaign on a fair and equitable basis to the participants.

 

5.5 Changes: The Organiser reserves the right at its absolute discretion to amend these Terms or cancel the Campaign at any time without prior notice and all participants shall be bound by such changes.

 

5.6 Disclosure: The Campaign is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook/Instagram. All information provided is solely provided to the Organiser and not to Facebook/Instagram.
